Bill Cochran Shares His Favorite Features on the All-New GLS

Bill is a Sales & Leasing Advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian.
As the largest SUV in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, the GLS (formerly named GL-Class) has always had a commanding presence. I’ve owned three personally, and after seeing the new design, I’m considering a fourth! The extra space and comfort you get with a large SUV are really important to me, but here are the other features I love in the all-new 2020 GLS.
Optional 2nd Row Captain’s Chairs
Captain’s chair seating is now available as a no-charge option for the first time in the GLS, and it’s a fantastic option for some. It makes for a roomier second row, and the third row is easier to access as well – a win-win!
EQ Boost Benefits
The new engine in the 2020 GLS uses an electric EQ Boost that allows for gas-free coasting and lower emissions. The benefit to you – something everyone could use – more horsepower and fuel efficiency.
Tech Upgrades
The new GLS has gone through one of the most dramatic technology upgrades in Mercedes-Benz’s recent history. The addition of a beautiful, high resolution 12.3” touchscreen and the new voice activated “Hey Mercedes” MBUX make user controls easier than ever. There’s also a fun, and possibly very useful, optional feature called E-Active Body Control that allows the vehicle to bounce on its suspension to gain traction when stuck.
These are just a few of my favorite features on the all-new GLS. I’d be happy to show you what else has changed if you’d like to see it in person. Feel free to contact me at (804) 419-9607 or [email protected] to schedule a test drive.
